Trading Options on Mobile

Yes, you can trade multi leg options right from your phone. The Options screen works on mobile with the full option chain, a live profit and loss preview, and a lot and quantity selector, so you can build and place a strategy without a desktop.

Open the Options screen

Sign in with your Google account and go to the Options screen. From there you can:

• Pick the underlying symbol you want to trade.
• View the option chain with calls, puts, strikes, and expiration dates.
• Tap strikes to add legs to your strategy.

On a small screen the ticket is docked so you can scroll the chain and still see your working order.

Build and size a strategy

The mobile Options screen lets you build the same multi leg strategies you would on desktop: single calls and puts, verticals, spreads, iron condors, and calendars. As you add and adjust legs, a live profit and loss preview updates so you can see your defined risk and reward before you commit.

Use the lot and quantity selector to set how many contracts you want. Your lot and position limits vary by plan, so check the exact numbers on the Pricing page or on your Accounts page. If you are new to a structure like a vertical or an iron condor, the Learn page has getting started guides.

Place and manage the trade

When the preview looks right, place the order from the docked ticket. After it fills, you can watch open positions and live profit and loss, and manage exits, from the Trade terminal, where you can attach Take Profit and Stop Loss brackets to auto exit at a chosen percent, dollar, or price level. Your full order and fill history lives on the Activity page.

To stay on top of things away from your desk, turn on mobile push notifications and choose which fill and account alerts you receive on the Alerts settings.
