Paper Trading Disclaimer
Paper trading uses simulated capital for practice and education. Simulated fills may differ materially from live markets.
1. Introduction
This Paper Trading Disclaimer applies to paper accounts on Funded with Flow ("the Platform", "we", "us"), operated by Funded with Flow L.L.C. Paper accounts are free accounts provided for practice, education, and platform testing. By using a paper account, you acknowledge and accept the disclaimers below.
2. Simulated Capital Only
Paper trading uses simulated capital. The balances, positions, profit, and loss shown in a paper account are not real and have no monetary value.
- No real funds are deposited, traded, or placed at risk.
- No real orders are sent to any broker, exchange, or other live venue.
- You do not own or have any claim to any platform capital.
3. No Real Profits or Losses
Because paper trading is entirely simulated, you cannot earn real profits or incur real financial losses through a paper account. Any gains or losses displayed are informational only and exist solely within the simulated environment. Paper accounts do not, by themselves, create any entitlement to payouts or compensation.
4. Purpose of Paper Trading
Paper accounts are provided to help you:
- Practice trading mechanics and strategies in a risk-free environment;
- Learn how the Platform, its instruments, and its order types behave; and
- Test Platform features, including connected automation or AI tools, before using them elsewhere.
Paper trading is an educational and testing tool, not a financial product, advisory service, or recommendation.
5. Simulated Fills May Not Match Live Execution
Simulated order fills in a paper account may not match how orders would execute in live markets. Differences can arise from, among other things:
- Slippage during fast-moving or volatile markets;
- Liquidity limitations and partial fills;
- Latency between signal, decision, and execution; and
- Commissions, fees, financing, and other costs that apply in live trading but may be approximated or omitted in simulation.
As a result, the prices and fills you see in paper trading may differ materially from real-world outcomes.
6. Paper Performance Is Not Proof of Future Success
Past and simulated performance is not indicative of future results. Strong results in a paper account do not guarantee or predict success in evaluations, funded accounts, or live trading.
Simulated environments often cannot reproduce the emotional, financial, and execution pressures of real trading. You should not treat paper results as proof of skill, profitability, or readiness, and you should not rely solely on them when making decisions.
7. Platform Metrics Are Informational Only
Any statistics, analytics, charts, indicators, scores, or AI-generated outputs shown for a paper account are provided for informational purposes only. They may be inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, or based on third-party market data that is itself delayed or inaccurate. They do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and you remain solely responsible for your own decisions.
8. Acknowledgement and Contact
By using a paper account, you acknowledge that paper trading is fully simulated, involves no real money, may not reflect live execution, and is not predictive of future results. For questions about this Disclaimer, contact [email protected].
