Overnight and 24/5 Trading

Funded with Flow builds overnight and 24/5 candles for supported symbols, so your chart on the Trade terminal keeps drawing price action while the regular session is closed. This lets you follow futures and other supported markets around the clock instead of staring at a frozen chart.

How overnight candles work

When you open a supported symbol on the Trade terminal, the chart continues to build candles through the overnight and 24/5 session rather than stopping at the regular close. Outside normal market hours the chart may still show the last completed session for symbols that do not trade overnight, which is expected and not an error.

Overnight coverage is strongest on futures. Supported futures include symbols such as ES, NQ, MES, MNQ, and GC. You can place market, limit, and stop orders from the order ticket during these hours the same way you would during the regular session, and you can attach Take Profit and Stop Loss brackets from the close dialog to auto exit at a chosen percent, dollar, or price level.

What you need for live data

Real time market data drives the overnight and 24/5 candles. Real time data is included on every paid challenge tier, and your free paper account includes a 7 day real time market data trial. After the trial, live data continues with an active paid challenge or a standalone market data subscription. If your trial has ended and you have no active data source, the chart may lag or hold the last session. If the chart looks blank or stale

A blank or stale overnight chart is almost always a temporary data or connection issue, not a lost position. Try these steps in order:

1. Switch to another symbol and back to force the chart to reload.
2. Refresh the page.
3. Check the market data status indicator, and confirm your data trial or subscription is active.

If the chart still will not build after that, take a quick look at platform status to rule out a wider issue.
